Fall 2023 Life Groups

Our goal is to see everyone at NEW LIFE Church be discipled and grow in their relationship with God.

Book Club: Body of Proof

Beginning Tuesday, September 19th @ 6:30pm

Facilitator: Rev. Michael Sypek

Location: NEW LIFE Church, 90 Elm Street, Enfield, CT 06082

Day: Tuesday

Time: 6:30pm

(Child Care will be available for this LIFE Group.)

Description: Culture is doing its best to convince the world there is nothing special about Jesus.  And many Christians never get beyond a Sunday school understanding of their own faith.  The Body of Proof, examines the latest archaeological and textual findings and presents seven tangible, fresh reasons to believe Jesus really rose from the dead--and why it matters today as the foundation of our hope in the face of suffering and grief.  When you fully understand the implications of the resurrection, you will begin to understand the power of Christ in you.  This changes everything.

The Rest of God

Beginning Thursday, September 21st @ 6:30pm

Facilitator: Bob Chagnon

Location: Windsor Locks, CT

Day: Thursday

Time: 6:30pm

Description: Stillness as a virtue is a foreign concept in our society, but there is wisdom in God's own rhythm of work and rest.  Jesus practiced Sabbath among those who had turned it into a dismal thing, a day for murmuring and finger-wagging, and He reminded them of the day's true purpose: liberation-to heal, to feed, to rescue, to celebrate, to lavish and relish life abundant.
